Before going to Boracay, I had a layover with my sister in Cebu. We had 1 day so to make full use of it, I made this itinerary!
Our accommodation was at the Sugbutel Family Hotel, which is a short walk from the port and is nearby SM City Cebu. Our point of transit was the mall itself and I'm just thankful for the MyBus— they do transfers to SM Seaside and the airport!
Via MyBus
SM City Cebu to SM Seaside: 25 PHP
SM City Cebu to Mactan–Cebu Airport: 50 PHP

COLOUR MUSEUM
📍 2nd floor, Seaside Wing near Double Ma TeaAdult: 250 PHP
Student: 150 PHP
The Colour Museum is similar to Manila's Dessert Museum~ And I like that it's more budget-friendly. Lol I don't know if it's still ongoing, but when we went, they had a promo and we only paid 180 PHP each.
There's a locker for your shoes and you basically go around wearing socks or barefoot. And here goes, take photos as many as you want
Will I finally like doing laundry if I have a room like this!? *pretentious bish*
Since there's only 2 of us, it's hard to take pictures of us together. There were staff standing by to assist but this was the only okay shot:
There was no group before us so we were able to photograph comfortably and even go back to the first ones again. I can't imagine if it's packed. Lol thank God for no photo bombers this time!
And then back on the MyBus to SM City Cebu for our next destination!

LIFE4CUT SELF STUDIO
📍 Sanciangko St., Cebu CityWe just rode the 12G jeepney from SM and used Google Maps to make sure where to stop. Lol it's apparently behind the USC Main Gym. The door we entered first though was Kokio, and they serve some Korean food.
From what I read from their sugbo.ph feature, it said if you dine in the restaurant, the photobooth would be free to use but that's NOT the case.
We only ordered the cheese ramyeon, red bean bunggeopang and odeng. We didn't order a lot because we don't eat a lot anyway... Hihi and because we're excited to explore the studio! Well, the resto played KPop songs so it was very enjoyable From Super Junior, SHINee, BtoB~
Here's a closer snap of the menu:
Now on to the next room!
It's a simple pink room with the Life4Cut photo booth~ For 100 PHP, you can get 2 identical copies with 4 poses. You can also do 2 attempts at most if you feel the first set isn't satisfying for you!
Life4Cut is from South Korea itself, so it's nice for me to experience this even if I'm yet to visit my dream country! And the photo strips were definitely great souvenirs for this trip with the sissy!
There's another floor but it was closed. From the signs there, they actually offer hanboks to wear~ I think they're about to launch that part or something. Maybe when you go now, they've already opened that area.
Not bad for a layover, right?
